As a matter of fact, there is no error at all in the above example, but there is an appositive error in the first sentence of the sample essay I provided:
Adrienne Rich's poem, "Living in Sin," tells the story of one woman's experience with love.However, deleting the comma preceding the poem title creates a worse error. See Owl's "Extended Rules for Using Commas," #12.
