Contents: At the heart of Littauer's plan for teaching Romeo and Juliet are three writing assignments. The students are required to write an act-by-act plot summary, an analysis of a major character, and a "unified essay dealing with how one major character influences the plot." In addition, there are a bunch of very short clips from a very amateur production, a link to the complete text at MIT, and a link to Littauer's own online dictionary of literary terms. Bottom Line: Looks pretty dreary to me. |
