Assignments
ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION: They are required, and count for 20% of your grade.

QUIZZES: There will be three quizzes. One on the introductory material and The Taming of the Shrew; one on The Merchant of Venice; and one on the Student Choice section of the class. Your quiz average will count for 40% of your grade.

PRESENTATIONS: You must participate in a group presentation. The presentation will be graded, and each group member will be awarded the same grade. If you don't like the grade you receive, you may write an essay on a topic related to the topic of the presentation. If your essay grade is higher than your presentation grade, that grade will be substituted for your presentation grade, which will be worth 40% of your quarterly grade.
